Lastly, I admit though mlm is the quickest and smartest way to earn money if all you know how to do is talk. Oh yea, what can I say about the "hardest workers" in mlm; those are most likely the money hungry individuals would could care less about others (duke tubtim, aaron dinh) , but not all off them are because I know some kind hearted individuals who made it to the top with an genuine heart and awesome personality. I know this business all too well, USANA in particular.

mlm isn't a illegal business and I know that by first hand. I have friends in it, but its unethical and unmoral to be in the business. You say the corporate world is a pyramid. I KNOW THAT At least in a real job you're paid for what you're worth. What I'm "worth" is determined by our degrees, right. Too bad, thats how the world works. But if you have to stoop down to the mlm business to make yourself a 'stable income' with USANA then have a good time trying to sleep, knowing how the tactics work.

work? how do you define work in the mlm business? convincing individuals to fork out their hard money by telling them how great an opportunity USANA is. That fact is, there will always be many many other people below the gold director, who HOPE to achieve what your cousin has. However, that will not happen b/c the whole compensation plan is only design to help a few individual in every team to succeed , so they can they others that they can achieve it to when in reality most will not.

Last thing, if they don't make it to Gold director, it's the individuals own responsibility. Take myself for example, the guy in this video did his job in making a plan for my team and I to reach Gold director, he did most of the work even, etc--but I'm not Gold director because I chose not to be one. However, my cousin and friend both hit Gold director the same time I was supposed to. They wanted it more badly than I did, therefore they did the work, and they hit Gold. That goes for EVERYTHING.

So the lingerie dept. at Nordstrom is a pyramid scheme? They work based on commission. There is no "stable income" unless they do the work. The same goes for Usana or for any business. If you sit and do nothing, you won't have a stable income at all. It has nothing to do with being a pyramid scheme. Ask the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission--the people who have authority to shut down pyramid schemes) where Usana stands, then maybe we can hold your word up for something. Have a good one. =)

oh yeah...big corporation are somewhat of a pyramid itself but you're paid for what you're worth. Usana..sure you work hard, but you're working hard to give other individuals false hopes of getting rich off of this when in reality most of the downlines will never get to gold dir. and up
kmusic (August 15, 2008 at 8:37 am)
if there are people who don't get a stable income for what they're doing, then its not a business. It's a pyramid scheme
kmusic (August 15, 2008 at 8:34 am)
dtx...its obviously a pyramid scheme..if you need to "trick" or recruit or refer or however you want to call it, then its not a legit way to make money. yes, you can pass your upline but 32 other individuals get ZERO weekly residual. yea, 32 is what you need for Gold right, I know the game. Those 32 people and I can say about only 1 or 2 out of those 32 downlines will rise to gold, which in my opinion will actually show some results for making those "investments".

Yeah, it's definitely a pyramid scheme. NOT! In any case, no need to defend a network marketing company (any legitimate network marketing company) to those who bank their hopes on winning the lottery or an inheritance. God forbid that those who are entrepeneurial and motivated have a vehicle to build a financial asset. God forbid, indeed. |
