I've seen this whole thing and he says when you're holding the gun you have to push twards him so when he trys to step back the gun will still be on him.

Good point but this only one concept. The pistol is easy to be hidden a larger weapon wouldn't be as easy to get close to someone with. 88% of gun attacks aren't aimed at hurting or killing a person, they simply want what you have. If they kill you there's bloody on the item and they are a murderer.
