Aww, I miss John Massey and his reports from Chopper 10! I lived in Hampton Roads for 3 years and my favorite special reports always involved John! lol Keep up the great work!

I live in that neighborhood. Some houses are flattened, some are half gone and some are mostly ok. The taxidermy shop is ok. I saw it out my window at 4:15 right before it cleared out my neighbors's houses :( They aren't allowing anyone back yet, so we're in hotels, with friends, or in shelters. There was a gas leak near my house with sparks, so they cut the gas and power.

omg . i live in deep creek , and i could see the top of it .small town suffolk was on . the today show , cnn, msnbc , weather channel , and every other national news show

I live about 15 minutes from where Driver is. I happened to be in Hertford, NC when all this happened. Tried driving to the areas afftected but all roputes leading to devastation were blocked off by State Police.

Anybody seen footage of the one that hit the naval base? It broke every government vehicle windows and tons of cars belonging to guys who are out to sea right now!

So sad that someone died, but it's amazing that more weren't killed. It does seem like there's more tornadoes this year...one barely missed us a few days ago. Very scary...heart goes out to these people. |
