Yeah its not immediately apparent is it. But yeah making ridiculous claims about things when you are uninformed tends to get you mocked. Emo if you are willing to learn was/is a genre of music a shortened version of the word, emotional hardcore, of which this is the second wave. Therefore this is emo.

Hahaha! ok then you are clearly a fountain of musical knowledge! ha! Emo was a term coined by music journalists in the early 90's in reference to bands such as this one. So if you use the term emo in reference to music this band is clearly emo. be quiet.
