I'm sure you did it... and it's backwards like I got a million times... try doing that, then do: L' U L U F Ui Fi U U
That will bring the piece up to the top row... but oriented correctly, then solve it like he shows how and wham. Done.
Also... try doing it from the right side. For me it's more confusing, but when I got it going left and right, it eliminates that middle step I just shared. Hope that helps.

I'm doing the 0:48-0:55 part, but each time i do it, i end up messing up the green somehow, what am i doing wrong?

works for me. make sure you're only rotating the top when you switch around.
