Meanwhile, the Iraqi government has accomplished almost all of the legislative benchmarks set by the U.S. Congress and the Bush administration. More important, it is gaining wider legitimacy among the population.

McCain blew it for the conservative movement. He gave big government solutions to oppose Obamas bigger government solutions. I'm tired of being promised conservative governing solutions and the policticians who deliver this phoney message of hope. Obama may turn out to be a power hungry politician after all. FDR's New Deal was very socialist in nature as well. They are only different by degrees, your buddy McCain voted for the bailout too, making the government the majority shareholder in those being bailed out. that is overwhelmingly socialist. so what makes McCain any better? you do know he wasn't simply held as a POW, he was charged with civilian deaths because of the bombing runs he participated in over North Vietnam.
