Tim, good effort but your example while valid is not really useful since it targets an extreme example of a bubble many years ago. Would like to see a more current example on how active traders with shorter time frames can use this tool. thanks.

You drew the fib lines AFTER all of that price action had occurred. You have no way of knowing DURING the action where to "finish" drawing the fib lines, and thus the levels. To draw this AFTER and then claim that it bounced around those levels is irrelevant. At the time, you'd have no idea where to draw the bottom of the FIB tool, and all of those lines would fluctuate at every peak/trough.
