Really? I had really good luck with seagate and WD Raptor X, but i had maxtors brand new die in one hour. so don't buy maxtor they suck!

Seagates are the worst hard drives I've owned. I've had 3 seagates for only a year and they both crashed within 4 months of eachother... I've had 5 WD hdds last for well over 5 or 6 years...

One Seagate is more than 10 years old, one is (i think) 4 years old, one seagate is 1 year old, one is 3 months and my newest one is 4 days old
