I've been a fan of Jimi since I was 1 yrs old, back in '77. The only thing that bothers me about this version is the fact that he's so out of tune... right from the beginning too, it was due to the whammy effing up things further in. At that time it just gets worse. I will say he does play a guitar out of tune better than anyone I know, though. lol!

He just knows perfect balance in energy, that high painful bend at 4:55 was perfect!

Jimi is God, God does not make mistakes, unless he eats as much acid as Jimi while playing guitar. Seriously, mistake or not imo its a brilliant version of red house, he can turn any "mistake" into something amazing..Hands down jimi is and will always be the best. RIP

honestly satch1979, hendrix made plenty of mistakes. his abiltity to roll with them and his free flow of ideas was what made his improvisation so amazing. rarely do i respond to a comment but thats ridiculous to state what someone "misconstrues as a mistake" is a lack of understanding. i doubt you are the all knowledgable guru of the guitar. listen to the music and get over yourself.
