I made one in about 10 minutes but it took a lot of tweaking to get the right balance and distance of the loop from the magnet. It works though.

in this video you can see the application of electromagnets and electromagnetic induction
in electromagnet if there is an iron surrounded by a coil that has a current flowing in it causes the iron to become a magnet and while in electromagnetic induction the change in the magnetic field induce electricity.
so more loops of coil more electricity and magnetic field so the coil moves faster
