Onlydreamin1959, Siouxsie herself has never considered herself or the Banshees "goth", but she was labeled "gothic" especially during the Juju-era and many say that gothic rock got a huge influence from their music although they weren't goths theirselves.

Funny thing, I don't consider myself goth, but I'm really informed on Siouxie's music because I was around when her music was getting airplay. And I absolutely loathe Madonna, so we have something in common there:) Why do you think she's goth? Just wondering because I really am interested.

Goth is defined as a form of post-punk utilising bass as the prime driver of melody and 4/4 time signatures all other instruments are optional.Besides not all Goth bands made just Goth albums.

sorry, but this doesn't even sound like goth, i don't recall much trumpet music in goth tunes. maybe i'm a purest though. iggy owns this - suzy can't have it. BUT THAT'S OKAYYY!! She has her own stuff, and it's truly hers - with no trumpets. i mean, what's next? suzi in vegas? a duo with celine?
