yeah apparently they had to constantly refit the Mustang's suspension whereas the Charger kept pounding on over the jumps.... Both awesome cars and what a sound track (that music and two HUGE V-eights). Lovely ;-)

not sure if you know, but i read in an atricle that mcqueen's mustang had to be altered to keep up with the charger. and he does the driving when u see him, and when the mirror is tilted up it is a stunt man. awesome scene though

At 4:56 it looks like McQueen's mutterring something to himself or something. Watch his mouth in the mirror.

you can breifly see a gto pass by mcqueens car, and that car would burn the stang and the charger. EASY.

Look carefully at 9:13 9:14 and you can see the Charger screaming by the garage.I can not belive it,it missed the bloody garage!HAHAHA.
