Astrology is great if you ignore all the flaws, rules that are variable between different versions and astrologers, vague results, irrational adherents and not one scrap of documented evidence for its basis or workings. Yep, great as any superstition can be. Adam Peenum

Astrology is great. All I would say about it is - I could make up any old shit up in my head tomorrow, (and I mean absoloutely any old random crap, maybe something involving the wearing of blue hats on a Thursday) and it would be just as accurate and full of (doubtless) remarkable insights. That aside, it's great.

James: I know how old he is.
Type the following a 100 times on YouTube and I'll tell you:
"Einstein thought astrology was nonsense and definitely never said any of the quotes falsely attributed to him."

ZZytrewq and squee27 - WE WON!!!!!
No more misquotes and nonsense from the silly old bugger.
I knew he'd chicken out when there was no way he could respond with facts.
I'll note this day in my diary.

typo: 'this', not yhis.
'Brothers', not brothers.

I am officially leaving yhis video to assholes like zzytrewq, ZoeMarks, and squee27.
The Subterfuge brothers are way too antagonistic to ever reason with an astrologer.
AMEN

I am only referring to astrologers who accept
what they have read or heard. There's still only a slight chance that a quote was not a true quote. Otherwise it is still speculation.
Any quote I make is one I myself accept and believe to be from that person. I never intentionaslly misquote anyone (knowingly).
Besides- I do not think that anything attributed to Einstein or Newton about astrology was a misquote. Not just because some science minded geek doesn't like it.

LOLjames:
Rule 3 says: "Misquote famous people"
No where does it say "intentionally misquote a famous person" as you try to imply.
I'll name one astrologer who misquotes famous people: LOLjames
You misquote lots of things, including our friend Einstein. And dozens of astrology sites do the same.

Your 5 notes on astrology are all untrue, with maybe a minor exception for "some" slight deisagreeance on sidereal or tropical astrology, and maybe the choice of House systems which vary only ever so slightly- but on rare occaisions 'can' make a difference.
Give me the name of "one" astrologer who was proven to intentionally misquote a famous person.
Astrology has a myriad of famous persons standing "for" astrology before and after Newton's time.

I would refer to "old farts" as someone older than I. I am 52.
It is almost certain you will not share your current age (in years ) with us.
But please- Let us all know, you old ____year-old fart.
I'll bet you watched new episodes of "Leave it to Beaver", long after you were potty trained. Cool. |
